
Sheldon Sonnenberg
Physical Therapy
Sheldon Sonnenberg received his Master of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008. He is knowledgeable in manual therapy along with proper personal training techniques for the de-conditioned client.
Post graduate school Sheldon completed an internship with the University of Texas Football and Softball Strength & Conditioning program to gain additional experience in advanced training. In April of 2009 he moved to Jacksonville, FL and worked specifically with physical therapy and athletic training for the Jacksonville Jaguars taking athletes through their rehabilitation program on and off the field. Sheldon received the “Coach of Camp Ladainian Tomlinson Camp” award in the summer of 2010 and also assisted with the Maurice Jones-Drew training camp for kids. In 2011 he lead a Head Athletic Training/Strength & Conditioning position with the Los Angeles Blues USL Pro Soccer team through their inaugural season. Amongst his vast experience in sports medicine he also has worked an equal amount in the hospital and outpatient setting taking patients from pre-surgery to active living.
Sheldon has inspired to bring his experiences together where he can conduct a professional opinion and treatment program for the active aging. Along with rehabilitation he has gained additional knowledge in nutritional programs that have accelerated the rehabilitation process and level of individual fitness. He looks forward to educating you on how to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
